Starting from the concepts of diversification-based safety architectures, and combining them with processor code-based technologies, since 1997 railway signalling company, CSEE has been developing and technologically updating an innovative safety computer architecture called the CSD (Calculateur de Sécurité Disponible):

• this architecture has evolved into a highly integrated solution called DIVA (Dynamic Integrated Vital and Available system).
• this architecture and associated technologies are common to both wayside signaling (IXL and RBC) and on-board (TVM and ETCS) applications.
