Innovation
Four key areas of innovation at CSEE:
Digitalizing rail network safety and operations
The company is not only developing 100% digital signal equipment and signalling systems that will enable rail networks to be modernized more quickly, but is also investing in digital tools for modelling, parameterizing and simulating networks.
Autonomous train driving
In collaboration with SNCF, Compagnie des Signaux is working on the MARS project, aimed at developing autonomous driving systems for high-speed trains. These railway drones will make it possible to open and secure lines in the morning in complete autonomy.
Safety computers
The company designs high-performance safety computers, which are essential for guaranteeing the reliability and safety of railway systems. These increasingly powerful computers play a key role in train safety.
Complex systems
Compagnie des Signaux is also at the forefront of the development of complex systems integrating various technologies such as 5G, artificial intelligence, digital twin, and satellite communications to meet the new challenges of the rail sector.
Our engineers then demonstrated their ability to develop an autonomous pilot system capable of taking into account the operating constraints associated with freight traffic, while seeking to optimize energy consumption during movement.
