Since January 2019, the management of Compagnie des Signaux has been committed to implementing and developing a Disability Policy. The aim is to respond sympathetically to health and disability issues within the company, and to encourage the integration and continued employment of workers with disabilities.
Management and the disability advisors, in collaboration with other players involved in this field, are working to inform, suggest improvements and support employees with disabilities
To diversity and the employment of people with disabilities
the Company's aim is to
- Encourage employees with disabilities to remain at work and to support them in balancing their professional and personal lives
- Raise employee awareness of disability issues and developing a managerial culture of diversity
- Help people with disabilities access employment, raise their level of vocational training and support them in their professional careers.
- Maintain and develop partnerships with companies employing people with disabilities, by using sheltered employment for subcontracted services, and by developing our commitment to responsible purchasing.
- Develop and maintain links between Universities and the company, enabling young people with disabilities to define their career plans through work placements and apprenticeships.
Communication is an essential and indispensable asset for informing and exchanging with employees, and for removing prejudices and taboos. Our company is committed to communicating regularly with all its employees, with the possible support of Disability Advisers, with a number of objectives in mind, in particular :
- Raising employee awareness of disability in all its forms
- Providing information on the steps to be taken to declare a disability
- Providing information on the rights and assistance available to people with disabilities
- Communicating regularly on the actions implemented within the company and their follow-up
- Involving occupational health services and other specialist bodies in the process of recognizing disability and adapting workstations.
