On-line maintenance

Maintenance

On-line / on-site maintenance

Maintenance is an integral part of the history of the railway signaling company, the Compagnie des Signaux. Indeed, since 1913, it has been maintaining the signaling of the Paris metro. From 1992, it also maintains the signaling of tram lines (184 stations – 102.8 km). This maintenance is carried out 24/7.

This maintenance includes preventive, corrective and trackside support.

  • Preventive and corrective maintenance of signalling installations, including future extensions,
  • ACCT (Accompagnement des chantiers de la VOIE): dismantling/reassembling and revalidation of signalling equipment when tracks are renewed.
  • Auxiliary maintenance services, such as minor modifications to installations or monitoring (opening premises, taking measurements, etc.).

Routine maintenance work is carried out on all signalling equipment.

To achieve this, CSEE has a team of 90 people, including 8 foremen and 55 technicians, 23 of whom are highly qualified.
